Mr Manoj Dhar

As a social innovator, Mr. Manoj Dhar, as the Co Founder & CEO, has helmed IBEL’s (Hong Kong's educational NGO) daily frontline and solution providing services, for over 9 years. Mr. Dhar is firmly committed to facilitating the social integration and upward mobility of these educationally marginalised children, by providing them with a holistic, inclusive and equal learning opportunities environment, that nurtures their academic, physical and mental well being. IBEL’s 2 learning centers have a daily footfall of 280 of Hong Kong's underserved Non Chinese Speaking children that face routine language based exclusion at the local schools they attend.

Professor Carol Chan

Professor Carol K.K. Chan is an Honorary Professor at The University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on inquiry-based learning using innovative pedagogy supported by technology to promote students’ higher-order thinking and 21st century competencies. She has published extensively and internationally recognized for her expertise in collaborative inquiry. She excels in making research useful for practice and she is a key contributor to Knowledge Building International (KBI) based at University of Toronto working with teachers, principals, engineers, policy makers from 20 countries to design innovative education. She has been honored with the University Distinguished Teaching and Faculty Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Awards.

Mr Harris Chan

Harris serves as the Director of Marketing for the Greater China Region at Microsoft Asia, where he spearheads strategy, planning, and operations. His leadership is instrumental in driving business outcomes and cultivating brand love for all Microsoft commercial solution areas across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. In addition to his role at Microsoft, Harris is a passionate educator and innovator, co-founding Cobo Academy, a Hong Kong-based coding school dedicated to empowering the upcoming generation with the skills to thrive in the future, focusing on coding, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

Mr Alexander Tan

Alexander Tan is currently a Senior Director responsible for product design and management at Infinity Exchange a venture funded startup in the Crypto/Defi space. He has over 12 years of Product Design & Product Management experience at various venture funded startups with a demonstrated history in UI and UX for B2C & B2B SaaS Applications. He holds a BSc, Business Management degree from Kings College London and is an alumni of CIS (Class of 2006)

Ms Jasmine Feng

Ms. Jasmine Feng holds a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling from HKU and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and program development focused on emotional management and positive education. As a research assistant at the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education (CAISE) under HKU's Faculty of Education, Jasmine's work focused on positive education, emotion management, and character strengths. Her teaching experience ranges across rural schools to renowned international schools in mainland China. Jasmine was an honored guest speaker at the 2020 Penn-China Education Summit, where she discussed the challenges and opportunities in China's rural education.
